 DISSECT
confirmados para el RITUAL ZOMBI FEST!!
- ...y llegó la hora de confirmar la quinta y última
banda del RITUAL ZOMBI FEST. Dijimos que era una legendaria
banda europea que nunca había tocado en España
y sólo en su pais original y alrededores, hará
ya unos 20 años. Pues bien, ésta banda son
los míticos DISSECT holandeses, banda de culto que
editó su 1er y único álbum hasta la
fecha allá por 1993 y que por entonces se codeaba
con bandas como GOREFEST, GRAVE, ROTTREVORE, FUNEBRE...
y recientemente han visto re-editado dicho album junto a
todas sus demos en un completísimo CD doble y 12"LP
a través de Xtreem Music, lo cual motivó a
la banda para reunirse en 2012 para ofrecer shows a quien
nunca tuvo la oportunidad de verles, y quién sabe
si para grabar nuevo material!!
Cualquier viejo amante del más puro Death Metal de
principios de los '90 recordará a DISSECT cuyo album
"Swallow Swouming Mass" tuvo un buen reconocimiento,
aunque debido a motivos de diversa índole, la banda
fue decayendo hasta su disolución en el '97 donde
habían cambiado su estilo hacia un Death/ Thrash
técnico que poco tenía que ver con lo que
hacían anteriormente. 2013 es el año que ve
a DISSECT volver con más fuerza a ilusión
que nunca retomando los temas de su album y ofreciendo unos
aplastantes shows que harán las delicias de los fans
no sólo de la banda, sino también de grupos
en la línea de los grupos mencionados anteriormente.
DISSECT acompañarán en el cartel a los ya
confirmados AVULSED, PURTENANCE, CHRIST DENIED y ONIROPHAGUS
el próximo Sábado 12 de Octubre en Madrid.
Todas las bandas editan sus nuevos albums durante este verano,
lo cual supondrá una especie de presentación
conjunta en lo que sin duda será un auténtico
festival de Death Metal Undergroundque será recordado
durante mucho tiempo. No te lo pierdas!!

- ...and time has come to confirm the fifth and last band
for the RITUAL ZOMBI FEST. We already said it was going
to be a legendary european band that never played in Spain
before and only in their homeland and surroundings, and
that was like 20 years ago. So well, this band are the mythic
dutches DISSECT, a cult band that released their 1st and
only album to date back in 1993 that in these times were
hand by hand with bands like GOREFEST, GRAVE, ROTTREVORE,
FUNEBRE... and recently have seen this album re-issued together
with all their demos on a very complete double CD and 12"LP
through Xtreem Music and this motivated the band to reform
in 2012 to offer some shows to all those who never had the
chance to see them live and who knows if for the recording
new stuff too!!
Any old lover of the purest Death Metal from early 90's
will remember DISSECT whose album "Swallow Swouming
Mass" had a good recognition, although due to various
reasons, the band started to go down until their dissolution
in '97 where they already changed to a Death/ Thrash style
that little had to do with what they did before. 2013 is
the year that sees DISSECT coming back stronger than ever
recovering the songs from their album and offering some
crushing shows that will be the delight not only of the
band's fans, but also from bands in the vein of the aforementioned
acts.
DISSECT will share the bill with the already confirmed AVULSED,
PURTENANCE, CHRIST DENIED and ONIROPHAGUS on next Saturday
12th of October in Madrid. All bands are releasing their
new albums during this summer, so this will be like a massive
presentation on what will undoubtedly be a true Underground
Death Metal festival that will be remembered for a long

 ONIROPHAGUS
confirmados para el RITUAL ZOMBI FEST!!
- La cuarta banda que tomará parte en el RITUAL ZOMBI
FEST, tras el anuncio de tres veteranas bandas como PURTENANCE,
CHRIST DENIED y los propios AVULSED, serán los barceloneses
ONIROPHAGUS, una joven banda formada en el 2011 que está
dando mucho que hablar desde la edición de su primer
mini CD a principios del 2012 y que acaba de ser re-editado
por Xtreem Music para reforzar la promoción de la
banda de cara a la edición de su 1er larga duración.
ONIROPHAGUS entrarán a grabar, a finales de Abril,
lo que será su primer album completo que llevará
por título "Prehuman" y que será
editado durante el verano también por Xtreem Music.
Su música es un pesado, oscuro y denso Death/ Doom
que rezuma influencias de bandas como INCANTATION, OPHIS,
NECROS CHRISTOS, ASPHYX, MY DYING BRIDE, IMMOLATION, etc
y sin duda están siendo una banda muy a tener en
cuenta para un futuro inmediato, si no ya el presente!!
La banda sólo ha realizado unos pocos conciertos
a nivel local y ésta será no sólo su
primera actuación en Madrid, sino prácticamente
unos de los primeros conciertos que darán presentando
su inminente album debut.

- Tras la confirmación de los legendarios finlandeses
PURTENANCE para el RITUAL ZOMBI FEST, llega el turno de
la siguiente banda, que no es ni más ni menos que
CHRIST DENIED, banda paralela de Dave Rotten, vocalista
de AVULSED, formada en 1994 que editó un EP, dos
Split CD's, un CD con todas esas grabaciones y un álbum
antes de entrar en un hiato en 2001 y que recientemente
ha despertado de su letargo a finales de 2011 con Roger
de INFECTED FLESH sustituyendo a David Nigger y actualmente
se encuentra ultimando la grabación de su nuevo álbum
para verano de 2013.
CHRIST DENIED es sin duda una de las bandas pioneras en
el Brutal Death nacional y una banda que ha alcanzado un
gran respeto y estatus casi de culto dentro de la escena
internacional del Brutal Death con sus implacables blast
beats así como su personal y bizarro estilo gutural.
La banda nunca ha ofrecido ningún show en directo
en sus casi 20 años de existencia, y tras la confirmación
para el Obscene Extreme Fest en Julio, éste supone
su segundo concierto, y primero en ser confirmado en España.
El show de CHRIST DENIED en Madrid no sólo verá
cumplido uno de los sueños de la banda de tocar en
su ciudad original (ahora compartida con Barcelona), sino
también la de muchos seguidores dentro del territorio
nacional que nunca pensaron que podrían ver a la

- After the confirmation of finish legends PURTENANCE for
the RITUAL ZOMBI FEST, now it's the time for the next band,
which is nothing less than CHRIST DENIED, side band of Dave
Rotten, vocalist in AVULSED, formed back in 1994 that released
an EP, two Split CD's, a CD with all these recordings and
one album before entering a hiatus in 2001 and that recently
woke up from its lethargy in late 2011 with Roger from INFECTED

the Spanish Brutal Death scene and a band that has reached

July, this means their second show and first one to be confirmed
in Spain.
The show of CHRIST DENIED in Madrid will see not only the
band's dreams to play in their hometown (now shared with
Barcelona), but also the one from many followers of the
band that never thought they would ever have the chance
to see the band on stage and now will have the opportunity
to do it in one of the very few shows that the band has

 PURTENANCE
confirmados para el RITUAL ZOMBI FEST!!
- Como ya anunciamos, la presentación en Madrid del
nuevo álbum de AVULSED “Ritual Zombi” tendrá
lugar el Sábado 12 de Octubre y para ello hemos organizado
un festival que llevará el original título
de RITUAL ZOMBI FEST y contará con cuatro bandas
invitadas muy especiales que no sólo nunca han tocado
en Madrid con anterioridad, sino que prácticamente
en el resto de Europa, excepto sus países de origen,
claro.
Iremos confirmando cada banda en las próximas semanas
hasta completar el cartel y los primeros, junto a AVULSED,
claro está, son ni más ni menos que la mítica
banda finlandesa PURTENANCE!! Banda que editó su
ya clásico álbum debut “Member of Immortal
Damnation” en 1992 y que retornó el pasado año
con su nuevo mini CD “Sacrifice the King” y se
encuentran ultimando la grabación de su esperadísimo
segundo álbum para este verano.
PURTENANCE sólo llegó a tocar unos pocos conciertos
en su propio país hace 20 años y pronto volverán
a hacerlo de nuevo en un par de festivales, pero ésta
aparición en el RITUAL ZOMBI FEST será su
primer show fuera de Finlandia, con lo cual no sólo
estamos orgullosos de contar con una de nuestras bandas
favoritas, sino que también nos hayan concedido el
honor de tal exclusiva.
- As we already announced, the release party in Madrid for
the new AVULSED album “Ritual Zombi” will take
place in October 12th and for this we have organized a festival
that will be originally called RITUAL ZOMBI FEST and will
have four very special guest bands that not only have never
performed in Madrid before, but basically neither in the
rest of Europe, except their former countries, of course.
We’ll be confirming each band in the coming weeks until
completing the bill and the first ones, along with AVULSED,
of course, are no others than the mythic finnish band PURTENANCE!!
Band that released their already classic debut album “Member

Estamos seguros que la espera ha
merecido la pena y es que poder anunciar a SLAYER capitaneando
el cartel del Resurrection Fest 2013 es algo que no pasa todos
los días. Las leyendas del Thrash metal van a hacer temblar
Viveiro como jamás nadie lo ha hecho. LAMB OF GOD han demostrado
tener un directo apabullante y por algo son la banda más

metal legend will make Viveiro shudder like it's never been

AVULSED ready to hit the studio for 6th album "Ritual Zombi"!!
AVULSED is ready to hit
the studios next week to record their long awaited 6th full
length in the band's career which will be called "Ritual Zombi"
(yes, written in Spanish), title that was already announced
exactly two years ago, which will be a conceptual work only
dealing with zombies and its various aspects.
The album will contain 9 new songs plus a cover song of DEATH's "Zombie Ritual" as a tribute to the band that started it all for the real Death Metal sound (with permission from POSSESSED, of course!!). There will be also three instrumental songs (intro, interlude & outro) and this will be the first recording featuring new drummer Osckar Bravo.
Recording & production will
take place in Madrid at La Casa del Ruido Studios by Dani Blanco
& AVULSED during February/ March and later will be mixed in
Barcelona at Moontower Studios by Javi Félez. Then it'll
be finally mastered in Sweden at Unisound Studios by mastermind
Dan Swanö. Cover artwork will be done by Juanjo Castellano,
who did a superb work for the latest PUTREVORE album and this
made it clear for the band that he'd be the perfect choice to
conceive the most putrid transcription of the band's sound.
"Ritual Zombi" promises to be the strongest album of the band, gathering all elements that made AVULSED's style over two decades, a respected force with thousands of diehard fans around the world, which for sure won't be disappointed with this new work, that will be another step in the band's fight to keep the true spirit of Death Metal, free of clichés, labels & trends, staying loyal to what the band has been playing since day one back in 1991, which is: DEATH METAL (in bold letters!!).
The band will be capturing on video all the recording process and will be posting clips every week at the band's official Facebook, so make sure you follow AVULSED OFFICIAL at Facebook to be updated about it.

están listos para entrar en estudio la próxima
semana para grabar su largamente esperado 6º álbum
de estudio en la carrera de la banda que llevará por
título “Ritual Zombi” (si, escrito en español),
título que ya fuera anunciado hace exactamente dos años
y que será un trabajo conceptual únicamente tratando
sobre zombis y sus variados aspectos.
El
álbum contendrá 9 temas nuevos más una
versión del “Zombie Ritual” de DEATH como tributo
a la banda que lo empezó todo para el sonido real del
Death Metal (con permiso de POSSESSED, claro!!). También
habrá tres temas instrumentales (intro, interludio y
outro) y será la primera grabación que incluye
al nuevo batería Osckar Bravo.
La
grabación y producción tendrá
lugar en Madrid en los estudios La Casa del Ruido
a cargo de Dani Blanco y AVULSED durante Febrero/
Marzo para más tarde ser mezclado en Barcelona
en los Moontower Studios por Javi Félez. Finalmente
será masterizado en Suecia en los Unisound
studios por el genio Dan Swanö. El arte de la
portada correrá a cargo de Juanjo Castellano,
quien realizó un soberbio trabajo para el último
álbum de PUTREVORE, lo cual dejó claro
a la banda que él sería la elección
perfecta para concebir la más pútrida
transcripción del sonido de la banda.
“Ritual Zombi”
promete ser el álbum más consistente de la banda,
reuniendo todos los elementos que han hecho del estilo de AVULSED
una fuerza respetada con miles de fans acérrimos alrededor
del mundo, los cuales sin duda no se sentirán defraudados
con éste nuevo trabajo, que será otro paso en
la lucha de la banda de mantener el auténtico espíritu
del Death Metal, libre de clichés, etiquetas y modas,
permaneciendo leales a lo que la banda lleva practicando desde
su primer día allá por 1991, que es: DEATH METAL
(con letras gruesas!!).
La
banda estará capturando en vídeo todo
el proceso de grabación y posteará clips

will play in Turkey for the very first time ever!! 2 Shows!!
It's
now 100% confirmed that we'll play two shows in Turkey:
12.07 - Ankara (2012 Performans Club)
12.08 - Istanbul (Pulp Live Club)
We know we have a strong fanbase in Turkey, so we've done
all what's in our hand to make these shows happen. Thanx to

who's organizing everything and soon will confirm all bands
that will be sharing the stage with us.

de Rock y Metal de la última década.
 AVULSED
han sido elegidos, por los lectores de la revista ROCK ESTATAL,
como una de las 100 bandas más destacadas dentro del
panorama Rock y Metal de la última década en España.
Esto cobra especial relevancia al resaltar el hecho de que se
trata de la única banda de Death Metal en dicha selección,
siendo básicamente la única banda de Metal extremo
y por lo tanto, de corte no comercial.
Cada banda aparece

has been chosen, by the readers of ROCK ESTATAL magazine,
as one of the 100 most outstanding bandas in the Spanish
Rock & Metal scene. This has a special relevance
when noticing that it's the only Death Metal band
in such selection, basically being the only extreme
Metal band and thus of uncommercial kind.
Each band is featured
in such publication (of 200 pages!!) with a brief
interview & photo. We have scanned for you the
front cover and page where AVULSED is featured for
all of you who are interested in reading is (if you
can understand spanish, haha!!). We'd like to give

 AVULSED
has uploaded, the entire video on YouTube showing the band's
performance at AltaVoz Festival which took place last 16th of
October 2011 in Medellin (Colombia). The show is 55 minutes
long and has a great quality, recorded with many cameras and
shown live on TV.
The picture quality
is great, although the sound mix could have been better,
specially on the first songs, but it's getting better
song by song. This didn't depend on the band, although
we hope you enjoy it anyway. However, the video captures
another killer show by AVULSED, which performed an
epic concert under the rain. Yes, all musicians (except
drummer) were playing under nonstopping the rain,
right upfront the stage, where normally gay musicians
don't even dare to play, haha!! And this, together
with the great audience formed by thousands of Colombian
maniacs, made of the band's first trip to this country,
an unforgettable experience.
Need to mention
that the guitarist you can see on the right is Miguel
Barez, a good friend of us from the band INNTRANCE,
who replaced Cabra on this show. He learnt all song
in record time and did a great performance!!
The band wants
to give very special thanx to Alex Okendo (MASACRE/MORBID
MACABRE), for helping us all the way and getting this
video for us and of course the organization who did
a killer job and let's not forget the AltaVoz TV channel
for the video. It took 9 months to get it, but here
it is, entirely for free for the most brutal enjoyment
of all AVULSED fans!!

AVULSED
ha subido el video completo en YouTube mostrando la
actuación de la banda en el AltaVoz Festival
que tuvo lugar el pasado 16 de Octubre de 2011 en
Medellín (Colombia). El concierto, d 55 minutos
de duración, posee una gran calidad, grabado
con numerosas cámaras y retransmitido en directo
por TV.
La calidad de
imagen es muy buena, aunque la mezcla de sonido podría
haber sido mejor, especialmente en los primeros temas,
pero va mejorando tema tras tema. Esto no dependía
de la propia banda, aunque esperamos que lo disfrutéis
de igual manera. Aún así, el video captura
otro gran show de AVULSED, que ofreció un concierto
épico bajo la lluvia. Si, todos los músicos
(excepto el batería) estuvieron tocando bajo
la incesante lluvia, en la parte frontal del escenario,
donde normalmente los músicos gays ni se atreven
a tocar, haha!! Y esto, junto a la gran audiencia,
formada por miles de maníacos colombianos,
hizo que el primer viaje de la banda a Colombia, fuera
una experiencia inolvidable.
Es necesario mencionar
que el guitarrista que puedes ver a la derecha es
Miguel Bárez, un buen amigo nuestro de la banda
INNTRANCE, quien reemplazó a Cabra en éste
show. Se aprendió todos los temas en tiempo
récord e hizo un gran concierto!!
La banda quiere
agradecer especialmente a Alex Okendo (MASACRE/MORBID
MACABRE), por ayudarnos en todo momento y obtener
éste video para nosotros y por supuesto a la
organización que hizo un gran trabajo y sin
olvidar al canal de TV AltaVoz por el video. Pasaron
9 meses para conseguirlo, pero aquí está,

Comunicado oficial sobre el incidente
con Haemorrhage.
En vista de las falsas acusaciones vertidas recientemente por
la banda HAEMORRHAGE y para evitar los consecuentes malos rumores
que esto pudiera generar, AVULSED nos hemos visto obligados
a emitir éste comunicado donde relataremos LA VERDAD de lo ocurrido
y sin la influencia de ningún tipo de frustración ni resquemor
por nadie.
A las 11am del sábado 16,
una vez ya en la zona de backstage y preparándonos para llevar
los instrumentos a la parte trasera del escenario, recibimos
un mensaje del promotor encargado de nosotros, preguntándonos
si sería posible cambiar el orden de actuación con HAEMORRHAGE,
porque su vuelo llegaba con retraso. Tras hablarlo entre los
5 miembros de la banda (no sólo Dave Rotten, tal y como falsa
e injustamente se le acusa), se tomó la decisión de que no nos
convenía dicho cambio y que no tendríamos problema en retrasar
nuestra actuación si otra banda aceptase hacer el cambio, pero
no adelantarlo.
El motivo es más que lógico, y es que en un festival con 160 bandas, todo está cuadrado al milímetro. La gente ni siquiera puede ver a todas las bandas que querría, así que si los interesados en ver a AVULSED tenían marcado que salíamos a tocar a las 14:20h, os podéis imaginar la sorpresa de todos ellos al llegar a dicha hora y ver que hacía ya más de 40 minutos que habíamos tocado. En un festival pequeño y de un sólo escenario, no habría ningún problema.
Así pues, no se nos estaba pidiendo un favor, si no un sacrificio. Es decir, pagar los platos rotos de otros. Nosotros, y cualquiera que haya viajado en avión, sabe que los retrasos pueden ocurrir con frecuencia y de hecho en las situaciones más inconvenientes, así que decidimos volar la noche anterior para evitar esto que le sucedió a HAEMORRHAGE. Entonces, si hemos hecho todo correctamente y con previsión... Por qué vamos a solucionar nosotros el problema de otros?
Lo mejor de todo es que al poco rato de nuestra negativa y aún con margen a posibles negociaciones, se nos escribió otro sms diciendo que no nos preocupásemos, que el avión de HAEMORRHAGE había vuelto a Madrid. No se nos dijo más, pero cualquiera puede suponer que no vendrían. En cualquier caso, aunque si hubiésemos accedido, no hubiesen llegado a tiempo, ya que aparecieron por el festival justo al terminar nuestra actuación, sobre las 15h., y por lo que luego hablamos con Killjoy, vocalista de NECROPHAGIA y el propio promotor, dicha banda tampoco accedió a cambiar su horario. Entonces, si no había ninguna posibilidad, porqué llegaron Ana y Luisma gritándonos en el backstage con insultos y amenazas?
Estuvimos toda la tarde hablando y discutiendo el tema, con éstas dos personas, posicionadas en una actitud realmente violenta y rencorosa sin intención de razonar lo más mínimo, cosa que por suerte si hizo el resto de la banda. Incluso nos reconocieron que si la situación se hubiese dado al revés, ellos tampoco habrían cambiado el orden. Entonces…? Alguien entiende esto?
Básicamente nos estaban "exigiendo" que les hubiésemos hecho tal favor! Vamos a ver, un favor no se exige, se pide y si dicho favor no supone que el que lo tiene que conceder, se joda vilmente, entonces se hace, pero porqué vamos a jodernos nosotros, que hicimos todo correctamente, para que otra banda salga beneficiada a nuestra costa? Nos habría dado lo mismo fuese cual fuese la banda.
Acabando la trifulca, fue el mismo Luisma quien estuvo diciendo que "y tranquilos… lo que pasa aquí, se queda aquí, no seremos nosotros quienes anden con cotilleos…", y si bien su actitud fue en todo momento beligerante y evitando cualquier tipo de razonamiento, esto pareció ser lo único sensato que dijo. Pero cuál fue nuestra sorpresa cuando al llegar a Madrid nos empiezan a comentar amigos de un lado y de otro que les explicásemos la historia y finalmente vemos que fueron HAEMORRHAGE quienes decidieron seguir con ésa absurda idea de culpar a AVULSED y en especial a Dave Rotten, de que ellos no pudiesen tocar, aireándolo de mala manera en la red.
Fue principalmente el problema con el avión, el motivo por el que no tocaron. Al margen de que quisiéramos nosotros o no, cambiar el puesto. Esto ya era irrelevante. Teníamos que haber cambiado el puesto dos bandas y ninguna de las dos quisimos, incluso HAEMORRHAGE tampoco lo hubiesen hecho por nosotros, así que… dónde está nuestra responsabilidad? Porqué no culpan a NECROPHAGIA también? Quizá porque ahí no toca Dave Rotten a quien tanto odian? En cualquier caso es de la organización, que no les pudo encontrar un hueco para tocar, e incluso les han prometido meterles el año que viene, así que… a qué viene todo éste lío a toro pasado? Ganas de liarla? De quién es el "estilo" aquí? Nosotros en ningún momento hemos ido a joder a nadie, sino a cumplir con nuestro horario. Todo lo demás son falacias y ganas de confundir al personal.
Cualquiera que toque en una banda con algo de experiencia y seriedad, coincide con nuestra forma de actuar. Poneros en nuestro lugar. Lleváis casi un año ilusionados con la idea de tocar en el que hasta ahora es el festival más grande en el que hemos participado. Lo hemos hecho todo bien, todo iba sobre ruedas, tomamos nuestra precaución de viajar un día antes…. Y a falta de 2 horas básicamente nos preguntan: "Queréis adelantar vuestra actuación una hora y media (dos puestos ya que NECROS CHRISTOS tocaban entre medias en el escenario de al lado) antes, sin que nadie lo sepa, tocar menos tiempo y que cuando todos vuestros fans acudan a veros a la hora inicialmente fijada, se encuentren con que ya habíais actuado?". En definitiva, jodernos a base de bien para que a otra banda le salga todo bien? Pues la respuesta fue NO. Cualquiera que nos conozca, sabe que no vamos de estrellas, todo lo contrario, y que somos personas muy afables, pero de ahí a pensar que somos idiotas…
Por nuestra parte, la de AVULSED, todo esto quedará en éste comunicado, no vamos a entrar en guerras pueriles basadas en mentiras, insultos ni faltas de respeto. Este comunicado hemos tratado de exponerlo de la forma más clara posible. La verdad sólo tiene una cara, podemos demostrar cualquier cosa de las aquí dichas y no tenemos que excusarnos ni escondernos de ninguna de nuestras decisiones, por mucho que a otros les pudiera haber gustado que fueran de otra manera. Es más, a la vista de lo ocurrido, nos reafirmamos en que nuestra decisión fue la más acertada. Y para que quede bien claro, dicha decisión no la tomó Dave Rotten, sino los 5 miembros de la banda con total unanimidad, al igual que lo es el presente comunicado.
Dicho todo esto, sentimos que HAEMORRHAGE finalmente no pudiesen tocar por motivos completamente ajenos a nosotros y fuera del contexto como personas y profesionales, nos alegramos de que no hubiera nada que lamentar en el incidente con el avión deseándoles lo mejor y que tengan mucha suerte en su actuación del Hellfest del año que viene. Sólo esperamos que nadie se deje influenciar por comentarios y rumores deliberadamente malintencionados dirigidos a dañar la imagen de AVULSED, que durante más de 20 años, creemos que ha sido ejemplar.

AVULSED back from Hellfest!!
 Just
a few days ago, AVULSED played at what's probably the best Metal
festival in Europe: HELLFEST!!
We had a fucking great time over there and we're so happy of
having the chance of playing there in front of thousands of
maniacs!! The show was fantastic and both the audience and us
enjoyed every minute of our performance. We are very grateful
to the HF organization for treating us so well and having us
at their awesome festival and of course specially thankful to
all these AVULSED fans, friends and in general to all Death
Metal lovers that watched our show. We hope to meet you again
at some other european festival in the future!!

AVULSED de vuelta del Hellfest!!
Tan
sólo hace unos días, AVULSED tocó en el
que probablemente sea el mejor festival de Metal en Europa:
HELLFEST!! Lo pasamos increíblemente bien allí
y estamos muy contentos de haber tenido la oportunidad de tocar
allí delante de miles de maníacos!! El concierto
fue fantástico y tanto la audiencia como nosotros, disfrutamos
de cada minuto de nuestra actuación. Estamos muy agradecidos
a la organización del HF por tratarnos tan bien y haber
contado con nosotros para su increíble festival y por
supuesto especialmente agradecidos a todos ésos fans
y amigos de AVULSED y a todos los amantes del Death Metal que

New
drummer Osckar will play at Hellfest!!
 After long consideration,
AVULSED has finally decided to officially present
new drummer Osckar Bravo at Hellfest, being this the
best possible opportunity to show all our fans the
capabilities of our new band mate.
There was an initial
chance that Riky (ex-drummer) would play at Hellfest
in case that we didn't have a drummer ready for it,
for which we're very grateful, but since the adaptation
of Osckar has been nothing but excellent, the band
feels ready to face the challenge of having his official
debut at such big event.
In the meantime,
AVULSED has been confirmed to perform as headliners
on the next edition of the REPULSION Fest.
which will take place in Sevilla (Spain) on 29th of
September along with bands like EXTIRPATING THE INFECTED,
NO FATE, PURULENT NECROPSYS and DIGGING YOUR TOMB.

nuevo batería, Osckar, tocará en Hellfest!!
Tras una larga consideración,
AVULSED ha decidido finalmente presentar de forma oficial a
su nuevo batería Osckar Bravo en el Hellfest, siendo
ésta la mejor oportunidad posible para mostrar a nuestros
fans las capacidades de nuestro nuevo compañero de grupo.
Existió una posibilidad
inicial de que Riky (ex-batería) tocase en el Hellfest
en caso de que no tuviésemos un batería listo
para ello, por lo cual le estamos muy agradecidos, pero ya que
la adaptación de Osckar ha sido más que excelente,
la banda se siente capaz de afrontar el desafío que supone
ofrecer su debut oficial en tan gran evento.
Mientras tanto, AVULSED
han sido confirmados para tocar como cabezas de cartel en la
próxima edición del REPULSION Fest. que tendrá
lugar en Sevilla el 29 de Septiembre junto a bandas como EXTIRPATING
THE INFECTED, NO FATE, PURULENT NECROPSYS y DIGGING YOUR TOMB.

Inminente
concierto de BLESSED BY GORE!!
 El próximo
día Sábado 26 de Mayo, tendrá
lugar un nuevo concierto de BLESSED BY GORE,
banda que se dedica exclusivamente a tocar versiones
de AVULSED. Acompañándoles estarán
WILDHEAD, una joven banda madrileña
que practica un brutal y potente Deathcore.
El evento tendrá
lugar en la sala de conciertos que tienen habilitados
los locales de ensayo ROCK & POP que están
en la calle Albasanz 79 (nave 4) por la zona del Metro
Suances, en Madrid. Comenzará a las 22h. y
costará 5 euros con cerveza o refresco incluído.
El aforo es limitado a 80 personas y no habrá
ni reservas ni entradas anticipadas, así que...

 Just
one month after the departure of ex-drummer Riky, AVULSED is
proud to announce the joining of a new drummer to their ranks.
After testing three excellent
drummers, the decision was taken in favour of Osckar
(Oscar Bravo) which proved to be not only the best drummer,
but also, and very important as well, great qualities as a person
as well as the necessary dedication for the band, which will
undoubtely inject fresh and renewed hopes.
Osckar is one of
the best drummers on the Spanish Metal scene which also plays
in the legendary Heavy Metal band SOBREDOSIS ( http://youtu.be/o9buejkPdHw)
and also on NIGHTFEAR ( www.nightfearband.com)
as well as recently departed from melodic Death Metallers ATMOSPHERE

AVULSED parted ways with drummer Riky.
 To
all followers and fans of AVULSED:
We're sorry to communicate
you that since last 20th of March, Ricardo Mena (Riky) is no
longer the band's drummer. Due to differences on how to deal
with different internal issues within the band, we've decided,
after a reunion, that the best thing for both parts is not to
continue together. No hard feelings, beyond the sadness that
all this means for us all.
Due to this, we must announce the cancellation of the performance
on the two upcoming festivals in April where AVULSED was going
to participate: Thrashway Fest (Oviedo) and Barroselas SWR Fest
(Portugal). However, there's a possibility that the last show
with the current line-up
with Riky might happen at Hellfest in France.
We just want to thank Riky for his eight years of total devotion
and profesionalism as a musician and his friendship, that we'll
keep, of course. And to wish him the best both on personal and
professional on musical matters.

Para todos los seguidores y fans de
AVULSED:
Sentimos comunicaros que
desde el pasado 20 de Marzo, Ricardo Mena (Riky), ha dejado
de ser el batería de la banda. Por diferencias de enfoque
sobre temas internos de la banda, se ha decidido, tras una reunión,
que lo mejor para ambas partes es no seguir juntos. Si ningún
mal rollo, más allá de la tristeza que nos supone
todo ésto.
Debido a esto, debemos anunciar la cancelación de las
actuaciones en los dos próximos festivales de Abril donde
AVULSED iba a participar: Thrashway Fest (Oviedo) y Barroselas
SWR Fest (Portugal). De todos modos, cabe la posibilidad de
que el último concierto de la actual formación
con Riky sería en el festival HellFest en Francia.
Sólo nos queda agradecer a Riky sus ocho años
de inmejorable dedicación y profesionalidad como músico
y su amistad, que seguiremos manteniendo. Y desearle lo mejor
en lo personal y profesional a nivel musical.
AVULSED se encuentra pues, en fase de búsqueda y audición
de nuevos baterías para cubrir el puesto, así

AVULSED in Colombia!! ...and Hellfest, Way of Darkness, SWR...
 Yes,
AVULSED is finally playing in Colombia, perhaps the country
in the whole South America where the band has a stronger fan
base. Thanx to Alex Okendo from the mighty MASACRE and also
MORBID MACABRE, the band was selected to headline this year's
edition on the Metal section of the ALTAVOZ Festival
in Medellin on Sunday 16th of October together with bands like
MORBID MACABRE, VITAM ET MORTEM and ETERNAL. This festival is
a really huge one that always gathers not less than 10.000 metalheads.

Also,
the day before, on the 15th, AVULSED has been invited by Daniel
from the legendary colombian act PURULENT, to headline the 10th
anniversary of BOGOTA Deathfest alongside with SUPPURATION,
VEHEMENTER, CARNAL BLASPHEMY, INBREEDING SICK, HOLY SHIT B.S.E.
and ATHANASE GENOCIDE. Both shows are going to be something
really brutal and memorable!!
But a week before that,
AVULSED is playing in one of Germany's best uprising festivals
like it is WAY OF DARKNESS. Check poster here:

most probably this will be all regarding shows for this year,
but in 2012, during the first months there will be a bunch of
shows around Spain, still to be confirmed, in places like Granada,
Murcia, Mallorca, Asturias, Cantabria… and then the strongest
ones will follow!! First another performance at Portugal's 15th

and later on, what's perhaps the biggest festival ever to have
the pleasure of counting with AVULSED on its stages: HELLFEST!!

In the meantime, the band
decided to cancel the release of their 20th anniversary CD "Fleshcube"
mainly because there were several problems regarding the recording
sessions and that delayed the whole project to the point that
it was going to be impossible to release it for this year, so…
who knows, perhaps for our 25th anniversary!!
However, this cancellation
was taken in a positive way, because this helped the band to
concentrate in the songwriting of their upcoming album "Ritual
Zombi" whose recordings are planned for spring/summer 2012.
Although some labels have already shown interest on signing
AVULSED, the band won't take any decision about it until more
offers are being received and then will carefully check one
by one in order not to commit another mistake like it was done
with their previous album "Nullo (The Pleasure of Self-mutilation)"
which suffered of total lack of care regarding distribution
& promotion from Metal Age Prod. in Europe and Ibex Moon
Rec. in the US. Luckily it was released in time by Xtreem Music,
which saved this magnific album. But for the next full length,
AVULSED is still looking for a suitable partner, so any interested

Actuación de AVULSED cancelada
en el BURNING FEST
 Con tan sólo tres días de antelación
y con los billetes de avión de Madrid-Coruña comprados
hace dos meses, se ha comunicado a la banda que no será
posible su actuación debido a problemas con los dueños
de la sala Ola Green, quienes consideran que 6 bandas eran demasiadas
y que había que recortar grupos. Muy a pesar del promotor,
ha tenido que prescindir de la actuación de AVULSED,
ya que no era lógico que la banda realizase un viaje
tal para actuar tan sólo 15 min.

AVULSED's 20th anniversary is now!! And
some other news...
 2011 is
the year!! The year of the 20th anniversary of AVULSED, the
most constant & veteran Death Metal band from Spain, formed
back in August 1991, being the most active live band not only
within Spain, but also around the world (4 Euro-tours, Russia,
USA, Japan, Mexico, South & Central America...), always
carrying the flag of the most genuine Death Metal. Having spawned
5 full length albums, 3 demos, 2 EP's and other releases making
a total of 10 CD's & a DVD, the band feels stronger than
ever and of course ready to prepare something special to commemorate
these 20 years surviving trends & fashions and never wimping
out!!
During the 1st half of 2011,
a total of 18 songs taken from all their albums, will be re-recorded
for a CD entitled " Fleshcube". Instead of just
doing a compilation with the original recordings (that would
be too easy & cheap), the band decided to re-record all
these songs with the current line-up, the current guitar sound
(way heavier than before), their current drummer (who has empowered
the playing of the songs) and in general, the usual modifications
that each song is getting after being played for years and years.
In resume, it'll be an album with only the best songs of the
band. No fillers, just classics!! A special limited edition
will be released, most probably a box containing a double CD,
shirt and other goodies, limited to the first ones to come,
but it's still undecided how it'll be.
Needless to say that AVULSED
will be presenting " Fleshcube" after its release,
planned sometime after summer, playing all these killer songs,
while still working on the composition of new tunes for their
6th full length album tentatively to be recorded in 2012 with
the working title of " Ritual Zombi", a title
written in Spanish, but perfectly understandable in English
too, which not only in tribute to DEATH, of course, but also
will serve to introduce the zombie element into AVULSED's lyrics
to make them not just brutal, gore & macabre, but fucking
horrifying as well.
Also, 2011 means the first
agreement ever made between AVULSED and a management. STIGIA
Promotions & Management will handled, from now on, all negotiations
regarding shows & tours for the band, so if anyone is interested

In late 2010, AVULSED recorded
a cover of BLACK SABBATH’s song “Neon Knights”
for an upcoming double CD in tribute to Ronnie James DIO, including
some of the most relevant Spanish Metal bands. AVULSED is the
only Death Metal band on this compilation and without any doubt
this will be the heaviest and most brutal song on the whole
tribute!
Regarding merchandise, the
band issued a new T-shirt motive called "Breaking Hymens",
limited to 50 units of which some of them have already been
sold at shows and a few are still left, so hurry up if you want

2001 Es el año! El
año del XX Aniversario de AVULSED, la banda más
veterana y constante del Death Metal nacional. Formada en 1991,
es una de las bandas mas activas en directo dentro de la escena
dethmetalera española, incluso fuera de nuestras fronteras
(han tocado en 4 continentes: 4 Euro-tours, Rusia, USA, Japón,
México, Sur y Centro América...), siempre portando
la bandera del más genuino Death Metal. La banda, que
cuentan con 5 álbums en su trayectoria, además
de varias demos, EPs y un DVD (en total 10 CD's y un DVD), se
encuentra más fuerte que nunca y por supuesto listos
para preparar algo especial para conmemorar éstos 20
años sobreviviendo a modas y tendencias nunca reblandeciendo
su sonido!!
Durante la primera mitad
de 2011 van a regrabar un total de 18 temas, seleccionados de
todos sus discos, para lanzar un CD llamado “Fleshcube”.
En vez de recopilar las grabaciones originales (éso sería
demasiado fácil y barato), AVULSED han decidido regrabarlos
con la formación actual, el sonido de guitarra actual
(bastante más pesado que antes), el batería actual
(quien ha potenciado los temas) y en general las habituales
modificaciones que cada tema sufre tras haber sido tocados durante
tantos años. En resumen, será un álbum
que contendrá sólo los mejores temas de la banda.
Sin relleno, sólo clásicos!! Saldrá una
edición limitada, probablemente en forma de caja, que
incluirá un doble CD, una camiseta exclusiva, adhesivos,
fotos, etc… aunque ésto se decidirá más
adelante.
No hace falta decir que
AVULSED estarán presentando“Fleshcube” tras
su lanzamiento, programado para después de verano, tocando
esas canciones asesinas, a la vez que siguen trabajando en los
temas que irán incluidos en su 6º álbum de
estudio, previsto para 2012 con el provisional título
de “Ritual Zombi”, escrito en español, aunque
perfectamente comprensible también en inglés.
Este nombre no es sólo en tributo a DEATH, sino que también
servirá para introducir el elemento zombi en sus letras,
para hacerlas no solo brutales, gore o macabras, sino también
terroríficas.
También, 2011 significa
el primer acuerdo jamás establecido entre AVULSED y un
management, STIGIA Promotiona & Management llevará,
desde ahora, todas las negociaciones de conciertos y tours para

AVULSED también grabaron,

AVULSED can't play the shows in Belfast
(N. Ireland) & Dublin (Ireland) on 22nd & 23rd.
Two days ago, Cabra's mother passed away after being one month
in coma and yesterday at the wake, all members of the band (except
him, of course), decided that we wanted to attend the funeral
which was supposed to be today (friday), but today we knew it's
finally happening tomorrow due to some problems. This would
mean that we coultn'd play at least at Belfast's show.
We tried to re-book or even buy new plane tickets paid from our
own pockets to play just Saturday in Dublin, but unfortunately
the flight company informed us that if we don't fly today, the
trip back on sunday is not useable. So well, in any case we take
responsability on this and we're refunding the promoter of the
two shows with the money he paid for our plane tickets. This is
going to mean almost 900 euros, but we feel the situation is above
any kind of costs. AVULSED is not just a band, but more like a
family of friends that have been together over 20 years.
We hope our fans in Belfast & Diblin will understand this
sad situation we're involved. It was going to be our very first
time playing in that island and we were very much looking forward
to do it, but we hope it won't be our last chance and from now
we'll start working to get the two shows re-arranged in a near
future, as we understand many of you will feel dissapointed about
this, and believe us, we are too.

El concierto en Palma de Mallorca del
día 25 de Septiembre se cancela.
Ya teníamos problemas con Ricardo, el suplente que iba
a tocar en lugar de Tana, ya que unos insalvables problemas
laborales surgidos hace una semana nos obligaban a tocar sin
bajista, pero ayer martes día 20 recibimos la noticia
de que la madre de el Cabra entró en coma y su vida corre
serio peligro con lo que el Cabra se encuentra actualmente en
Alicante y le será imposible tocar el próximo
concierto.
Esto nos ha llevado definitivamente a cancelar nuestra actuación,
aún habiendo pagado los 5 billetes de avión de
nuestro bolsillo, dinero que perderemos definitivamente, pero
en fin, así son las cosas!!
Esperamos ante todo que la madre del Cabra se recupere satisfactoriamente,
desde aquí le mandamos todo nuestro apoyo y esperamos
poder volver a tener la oportunidad de tocar en Mallorca próximamente.

 La
próxima semana, coincidiendo con el puente de San José
(viernes festivo), AVULSED actuará como grupo invitado
en los 3 conciertos que los míticos suecos ENTOMBED estarán
dando por España y Portugal.
Hace ya 6 años que ENTOMBED no tocan por nuestras tierras
y desde entonces su estilo ha vuelto a ser el que todos añorábamos,
ése Death Metal sueco que revolucionó el estilo
a finales de los '80 y principios de los '90. De hecho, la banda
basa su actual set en temas de sus tres primeros álbums,
sin olvidar, claro está los mejores temas de algunos
de sus últimos trabajos.
Además, para AVULSED es, aunque parezca increíble,
la primera vez que la banda toca en La Coruña!! Nunca
antes en sus 19 años de historia, habían dado
un concierto en dicha ciudad (ni provincia, vaya), así
que será un concierto doblemente espcial tanto para la
banda, como seguro que para los muchos seguidores de AVULSED
en Coruña.
El concierto de Madrid tendrá lugar en la ya famosa Sala
Heineken, donde tampoco ha tocado la banda anteriormente y que
junto a HUMAN MINCER, hará un cartel con 3 bandas que
ningún fan del Death Metal se puede perder. De hecho,
al ser puente, sabemos que mucha gente acudirá desde
muchos lugares de la geografía nacional y habrá
un ambiente increíble!!

en varios festivales como el BRINGER OF DEATH (alemania),
SKULLS OF METAL (Jaen) con algunas de las mas reconocidas

 Parece
mentira... cómo pasa el tiempo!! Hace ya 3 años y medio desde
que AVULSED tocó en Madrid por última vez!!
Fue aquel concierto con SINISTER en Marzo del 2006 y ya ha llovido
desde entonces!!
Aprovechando la reciente edición del nuevo álbum "Nullo
(The Pleasure of Self-mutilation)", la banda estará
presentando dicho trabajo junto a los también madrileños SECOND
SILENCE y THIRTEEN BLEED PROMISES.
AVULSED presentará un extenso repertorio con
un buen número de nuevos temas, así como algunos de sus ineludibles
clásicos, todo ésto ofrecido con lo que sin duda es la más compacta
y experimentada alineación que hace que sus conciertos sean
más arrolladores que nunca conjuntando una brutalidad, técnica
y contundencia sólo posible tras haber pateado escenarios de
todos el mundo!! No os perdáis además la gran cantidad de nuevo
merchandise que habrá disponible para éste concierto, algunos
artículos serán sorprendentes!!
SECOND SILENCE practican un agresivo Metal/Hardcore
lleno de intensidad, blasts y un encabronamiento natural que
hará de su actuación una auténtica masacre!! Por otro lado THIRTEEN
BLED PROMISES, cuyo estilo podría clasificarse como
Brutal Deathcore con ritmos pesados, desquiciados blasts con
variadas voces agresivas y ultra-guturales que no sólo sorprenderán
a cualquier asistente, sino que los dejará "patascagás" con
su brutalidad!!
Para éste evento tan especial, AVULSED se ha decidido por contar
con dos bandas de estilos claramente diferentes a su clásico

 Although
it's been already two weeks since AVULSED returned back from
their European tour, we've been just recovering and getting
back on track, so now it's time to thank everybody that attended
to our shows in all countries we played such as Germany, Holland,
Belgium, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia & Slovenia. The last
three shows, along with the one in Brosserlach (ger) were definitely
the best & craziest ones!! We really enjoyed sharing the
stages with our brutal friends in EMETH and our sick brothers
from GRIMNESS 69. Thanx for everything and see you soon!!
Soon we'll be back around Europe, and the first show coming
up is a Festival in the very south of Belgium (Izel) in late
January. Many more European shows will follow and of course
we're quite busy playing all over the spanish territory, including
the two upcoming shows in the canary islands!!

of May 7th, AVULSED officially finished the works for the recordings
of their long awaited 5th album "Nullo (The Pleasure of
Self-mutilation)". After 8 months of slow and tortuous
work, the band is proud to announce what's their most complete,
heaviest and definitely best album in the career!!
"Nullo" will be simultaneously released in June by
Xtreem Music (trades) & Metal Age Prod. (wholesale) for
the whole European territory except Russia & ex-USSR countries
which will be released by Coyote Rec. Later, in September it'll
be Ibex Moon Rec. (label of John McEntee from INCANTATION) who
will release it in the US. More licenses in different territories
around the world are actually being negotiated.
The band is now starting to play shows presenting this new album
with upcoming shows in Italy (2), Russia (3), England (10th

having participated in the killer 2nd Death Fast Open Air in
Germany and headlined the 8th Metal Mania Open Air in Slovenia
together with Exodus & Impaled Nazarene, AVULSED is ready
for one more festival (as headliners as well) to close the summer
festivals. This one is the 6th FilthRock Festival in Germany
on 20th of September.
The band has just finished the recording of a brand new track
entitled "Breaking Hymens" that will be included in
the upcoming 10-CD mega-compilation box-set devoted exclusively
to Spanish extreme Metal bands. This compilation will include
over 150 bands and will be released in November '08 through
Xtreem Music. This new track is an exclusive recording for this
compilation although it'll be re-recorded for their upcoming
5th album. You can actually hear a rough pre-mixed and unmastered

Regarding AVULSED's new album, for the first time we can reveal
the title and album cover!! It's gonna be called "Nullo
(The Pleasure of Self-mutilation)" and the artwork is one
of the most bizarre, disturbing and even blaspheme covers the
band ever got!! The responsible for this gory piece of art is
the american artist Mike Hrubovcak who also worked for bands
like Grave, Monstrosity, Cattle Decapitation, Mortician, XXX
Maniak and tons of others.
Recording sessions for the new album are starting on September
6th and will take at least 2 months to be completed, mixed and
mastered, so a release date should be scheduled by the very
end of '08 or early '09, again through slovak label Metal Age
Prod. Some of the new song titles are the aforementioned"
Breaking Hymens", "She's Hot Tonight (In My Oven)",
"Chestblood"... and the style of the new compositions
follow the band's trademarked style brutal and heavy yet catchy
and somewhat melodic Death Metal with an even heavier sound

Yesterday night, our drummer Ricky suffered
a loss of coscience and once in the hospital he remained in
the Intensive Care Unit. It seems like he suffered a small brain
stroke or something like that. this is, one of the veins was
broken and some blood was spilled, so he need some surgery to
take that blood out.
At this point we don't know much about it, since he liked 200
km away, and this is the information provided to us by his girlfriend,
but what it's sure is that we'll have to cancel the AVULSED
performance at the DELIRIUM FESTIVAL that's taking place near
Paris 8France) next Saturday 19th of April. Also, right now
we're not sure if we'll be able to perform at the UNDERGROUND
METAL FEST in Lyon (France) next saturday 26th of April as well.
We still have to see how Ricky develops from this and then we'll
see, although this really doesn't depend on us.
We're very sorry for not being able to perform at the DELIRIUM
FESTIVAL on which AVULSED was the headliner sharing the bill
with quite some cool bands like HACRIDE + NO RETURN + DEGRADEAD
+ EMBRYONIC CELLS + HYSTHERESY + E-VICE. We hope our fans and
the organizers will understand us in this critical situation
and we really hope to play at next year's edition of the festival.
- Ayer por la noche, nuestro batería Riky sufrió
una pérdida de consciencia y una vez en el hospital, permaneció
en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. Parece ser que sufrió
un pequeño derrame cerebral producido por la rotura de
una vena, con lo cual necesita de una intervención quirúrgica
para extraer ésa sangre.
Hasta el momento no sabemos mucho más, ya que él
vive a 200 km de Madrid, y ésta es la información
que nos ha dado su novia, pero lo que sí es seguro es que
tenemos que cancelar la actuación de AVULSED en el DELIRIUM
FESTIVAL que tiene lugar cerca de Paris (Francia) el próximo
Sábado 19 de Abril. También, ahora mismo no sabemos
si podremos tocar en el UNDERGROUND METAL FEST en Lyon (Francia)
el siguiente Sábado 26 de Abril. Aún debemos ver
cómo evoluciona Ricky y entonces veremos, aunque ésto
realmente no depende de nosotros.
Sentimos mucho por no poder tocar en el DELIRIUM FESTIVAL en el
que AVULSED era la banda de cabeza compartiendo cartel con algunas
bandas realmente buenas como HACRIDE + NO RETURN + DEGRADEAD +
EMBRYONIC CELLS + HYSTHERESY + E-VICE. Esperamos que tanto nuestros
fans como los organizadores nos entiendan en ésta crítica
situación y realmente esperamos poder tocar en la edición
del próximo año de dicho festival.

 AVULSED
have just seen released their very first official DVD "Reanimating
Russia 2007" that includes one of their two shows
in Russia from the last month of May, the one in Moscow, where
there's 19 songs recorded in a totally professional way with
various cameras, pro-sound and many extras. This DVD means the
first official DVD ever released by an spanish Death Metal band!!

After a successful series of 7 festivals throughout Europe between
April & September which included countries like Germany,
England, France, Portugal, Austria, Italy & Switzerland
besides two shows in Italy and the aforementioned ones in Russia,
as well as various in the Spanish territory, AVULSED is now
ready for what will be their first live appearances in Finland,
a 3-shows mini tour in early December together with DEMIGOD
& KALMAH.
In the meantime, the band is still working in the new songs
that will be included in their 5th studio album that is going
to be recorded during the first half of 2008 and that will be
the most brutal and aggressive stuff the band has ever written,
always keeping the own identity signs of AVULSED's style.

donde se recogen 19 temas grabados de forma totalmente profesional
con varias cámaras, sonido profesional y muchos extras.

Tras una exitosa serie de 7 festivales por europa entre Abril
y Septiembre que ha incluido países como Alemania, Inglaterra,

dos fechas en Italia y las mencionadas en Rusia, así
como varias por el territorio nacional, AVULSED se encuentra
preparando lo que serán sus primeros conciertos en Finlandia,
una mini gira de 3 fechas a principios de Diciembre junto a
DEMIGOD y KALMAH.
Mientras tanto, la banda sigue trabajando en los nuevos temas
que formarán parte de su 5º álbum en estudio
que tienen previsto grabar durante la primera mitad del 2008
y que prometen ser lo más brutal y agresivo que jamás
haya compuesto la banda, eso sí, siempre manteniendo
las señas de identidad del estilo de AVULSED.

hemos regresado del GORE OVER
MEXICO 2006 con un total de 8 conciertos sobre los 9
previstos. Tenemos que decir que el tour fue todo un éxito!!
Agradecer a toda la organizazión así como a los
asistentes que nos mostraron su apoyo en todo momento y para
que os hagáis una idea de cómo fue el tour, aquí
os hemos hecho un breve resumen que también servirá
para aclarar ciertos falsos rumores que se han creado por parte
de gente que sólo quiere hacer daño a la banda.

 Ayer
31 de Julio todos los miembros de AVULSED perdimos a un gran
profesional, un gran amigo y sobre todo una gran persona que
no era otro que BIG SIMON.
Conocido por ser uno de los mejores productores e ingenieros
de sonido de la escena Metal y Rock española donde trabajó
para bandas como SOBER, SARATOGA, MAGO DE OZ, DARK MOOR y muchos
otros, Simón también masterizó nuestro
álbum "Yearning For The Grotesque" así
como trabajó (desinteresadamente) como técnico
de sonido para AVULSED en los festivales de Machina 2002, Viña
Rock 2003 y Canarias Metalfest 2005.
Todos en AVULSED estamos realmente tristes por la perdida de
Simón, que ha sido demasiado repentina y debido a problemas
de salud (cáncer de hígado). Desde aquí
queremos hacer constar nuestro más sentido pésame
no sólo a su familia, sino también a todos sus
amigos (muchos) los cuales disfrutamos durante años del
GRAN SIMÓN. (RIP

- We're finally back from our 3-dates UK tour and we must say
it was fantastic!! We'd like to thank every band we played with
and of course everybody that came to our shows, but very specially
to the guys in DILACERATE for setting up the Liverpool show in
a record time, Paul & Felicity for the excellent INFERNAL
DAMNATION 3 Festival in London and to Lyn from DECAPITY for the
killer CRUCIFEST in Birmingham!! Hey, well, also to Danny Herrera
from NAPALM DEATH for standing on the first line all the time
during our show in Birmingham!!

- The new CD of AVULSED "Reanimations" is totally
finished and being pressed already!! The recording & mixing
process took place at the VRS Studios in Madrid (same place
as the previous album) from 10th to 20th of february and it
was later mastered by Peter Neuber from Mega Wimp Sound in Berlin
(Germany) the week after. You can actually hear the two new
songs plus the WA.S.P. cover on www.myspace.com/avulsed so we
can't wait for your comments on our new stuff!!

Regarding live performances,
it seems like 2006 will be another busy year for AVULSED!! Next
to come after the show with SINISTER are two shows in... Russia!!
Yeah!! In St. Petersburgh & Moscow on the
7th & 8th of April. Playing in Russia is even more difficult
than playing in Japan, we can tell you!! Later that month, one
show in the south of France (Bidache) and on 28, 29 & 30th
of April, the band will be playing three dates in the UK, yes
again!! This time in Liverpool, London & Birmingham.
In May we'll have the Neurotic Deathfest in Eindhoven
(formerly Rotterdam Deathfest) as well as two festivals in Spain:
2nd Brutologos Fest (Palencia) and 4th Metal Circus
Fest (Barcelona). Of course the Mexican tour in August is
still in the works and soon we'll confirm all dates!! Check

can now watch the brand new AVULSED video-clip from the song
"Let Me Taste Your Flesh"
that was recorded during our show in Paris in June 2005, although
the sound is taken from the album. Check it out on the "downloads"
section. You can also watch our first video-clip "Powdered
Flesh" from '95.
Regarding the recording of the 6 songs for the "Reanimations"
CD, we're finally entering the studios during the 15 first days
of February.
Confirmed also is a show in Madrid together with legends SINISTER
for March 18th!! AVULSED will also participate on this year's
edition of the Rotterdam DeathFest to take place in May alonside
with bands like GOREROTTED, DISAVOWED, EMETH, PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT,
PSYCROPTIC, INSIDIOUS DECREPANCY, etc.
