Deeds of Flesh started in September of 1994 with the idea to create a brutal and constantly fast band. Erik Lindmark and Jacoby Kingston initiated the brutality and the drummer Joey Heaslet was picked to finish off the trio. After about only three months of playing together, Deeds recorded their first release the four song EP destined to be an underground classic entitled "Gradually Melted". With the help of Wild Rags Records, the band released the four song demo on a licensing contract and began to become heavily involved with the Death Metal Underground scene. The demo quickly sold the first thousand copies and was then re-release onto CD. During this time the bands name began to create a strong stir among the Death Metal underground scene. The re-release on CD brought a whole new wave of orders of devoted followers from around the world. Over one thousand copies were sold in the first month. During this time Deeds of Flesh was in correspondence with Repulse Records, who had been distributing "Gradually Melted' in Europe. Throughout 1995 Deeds played many shows on the west coast with all of the great bands like: Suffocation, Malevolent Creation, Six Feet Under, Immolation, Internal Bleeding, and the most brutal bands in the underground Disgorge. Meanwhile "Gradually Melted" was still selling strong.

In the spring of 1996 Deeds of Flesh recorded the full length CD entitled "Trading Pieces". It was recorded and mixed in 3 days and Re-mixed in May. The final DAT was sent to Repulse Records upon request and a deal was made. Now with a new label, Deeds began to grow in a new direction with major support from the extremely successful Spanish label. During the release of the new CD Deeds encountered a thunderous blow to the head, Joey (drummer) had decided to attend school which would interupt his obligation to the band. For three long months Erik & Jacoby would search for the perfect replacment for the almost unreplacable madman. With sheer luck, the guys found an awsome blasting motherfucker named Brad Palmer. He immediately moved to the Deeds house more than six hours away from his home. That instantly showed his dedication to the band. Jacoby and Erik knew right then he was the man for the job. Now the band has been getting a huge response from Europe and all the surrounding countries. The band has been receiving countless amounts of mail thoughout the world from fans, labels, and magazines. "Trading Pieces" is already selling great and is expected to do very well in the coming years.

May 97 was the time for them to tour Europe for the 1^st time and it was along with INCANTATION, AVULSED & ADRAMELECH on the REPULSIVE TOUR 97, a tour that brought them through all europe during 16 dates in ocuntries such as Germany, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovenia & Italy. This made nothing but increasing the already growing popularity of the band.

In October of the same year, the band recorded their 2^nd full length album entitled "Inbreeding The Anthropophagi". 8 songs in the vein of the 1^st album, but even more intense and with a much better production. Some weeks after the recording, their drummer Brad left the band and his place was taken ove by Ricky (ex-Disgorged). In March 98, a 2^nd guitar player called Jim K. (ex-Vile) making of D.O.F. a 4-piece band for the 1^st time.

Now with the newset edition Deeds of Flesh will be able to continue to bring you their relentless style of music for years to come. A new energy has taken over and the band will now grow stronger, faster and more brutal than ever!!
