Avulsed kehren mit einem noch widerlicheren Cover und dem besten Release ihrer Laufbahn zurückauf die Bretter, die die Welt bedeuten. “Gorespattered Sucide“ hat wohl mit Abstand den Award für das obzönste Cover der Bandgeschichte gewonnen, total krank. Um erfolgreich in diesem Grenre zu sein muss man aber schließlich mit jeder neuen Veröffentlichung extremer und brutaler werden, ansonsten hat das alles keinen Zweck. Einen Fehltritt wie auf “Cybergore“ werden die Spanier glücklicherweise nicht mehr so schnell begehen, weshalb auch der vierte Longplayer des Brutal-Death Fünfers unglaublich gut geworden ist.

Man hat wiederum in Brutalität und Geschwindigkeit zugelegt, sodass “Gorespattered Suicide“ fast durchgehend die Boxen zum Vibrieren bringen lässt. Wie nicht anders zu erwarten bedienen sich die Spanier an allen Klischees die anfallen. Die Lyrics sind typisch sadistisch und makaber, streckenweise sogar sehr abstoßend. Das Cover spricht für sich, wie oben schon benannt, also was macht diese Scheibe zu mehr als nur einem weiteren Death Metal Longplayer, der einmal angehört wird und dann in der Ecke landet? Nunja, Avulsed knüppeln sich nicht planlos durch die Songs, eingestreute Melodien und Soli, die Markenzeichen der Band, tauchen auch häufig auf. Und gerade diese passen einfach perfekt ins Gesamtbild, ohne würde ganz klar etwas fehlen und das Album wäre nur halb so gut. Neben dem Altbekannten macht die Band mit “Infernal Haemorrhoids“ einen kurzen Abstecher in den Grindcore….der Name ist Programm, soviel kann ich sagen. Dave Rotten keift, gurgelt, grunzt und schreit als ob er die höllischsten Hämorriden hat, die man sich vorstellen kann.

Der Groovefaktor auf „Gorespattered Suicide“ hält sich diesmal etwas in Grenzen. Teilweise gibt es wunderbare Passagen zum mitschunkeln, gegenteilig aber auch Songs, die einfach voll auf die Fresse hauen. Insgesamt hat man aber eine solide Mischung gefunden, die abartig Spaß macht. Zum Abschluss wurde noch der Motörhead Evergreen “Ace Of Spades“ in Death Metal eingehüllt, das hört sich allerdings sehr ungewohnt an, ist aber dennoch ein guter Rausschmeißer.

“Gorespattered Suicde“ sei jedem Deather infernal ans Herz gelegt. Hier bekommt sowohl der Splatterfreak als auch der melodiös-eingerichtete Death Metaller alles was zählt. Aus diesem Grunde gibt’s hierfür die Höchstpunktzahl von 10 Punkten, verdientermaßen!
